About the Experiment: In this experiment, we are examining intuitions about letters. As usual, we can't say much about the purpose of this experiment before you do it. That might affect your results. However, when you finish, the purpose will be explained to you. In the meantime, we can tell you that this experiment is one is a series of studies we have been doing examining what, exactly, people learn when they learn to read. Although reading is an important and interesting topic and has been studied for many decades, there are still many questions. The answers could help teach dyslexic children how to read and also build better computer programs that can recognize written text. In this experiment, you will see strings of letters such as "rtrtrtrtrt." You will be asked to make a judgment about these letters. You will respond by pressing a key.
